Thai food is internationally famous, even in Australia. Whether chilli-hot or comparatively blands, harmony is the guiding principle behind each dish. Thai cuisine is essentially a marriage of centuries-old Eastern and Western influences harmoniously combined into something uniquely Thai. The following are some Thai food that you have to try.
- Pad Thai: It is one of the most popular dishes to be ordered in any Thai restaurant. Pad Thai was invented in 1930s by Chinese Thai chef, it is the dish of thin rice noodles stir-fried with egg, shrimp, tofu and seasoned with fish sauce, sugar, vinegar, tamarind and dried chilli has subsequently regined as the poster boy for Thai cuisine.

- Tom Yum Gung: This Thai masterpiece soup is teeming with mushrooms, tomatoes, shrimp, kaffir lime leaves, galangal and lemongrass.
